Linehan Outfitting is proud and honored to be an Orvis Endorsed Fly Fishing and Wingshooting Outfitter. And we’ve been nominated and awarded several times over the years for the Orvis Endorsed Outfitter of the Year most recently in 2020.
It’s never been our ambition to be the biggest outfitting business in the industry, we’re motivated to be one of the best.
WHY FLY FISH MONTANA?
MONTANA RIVERS, LAKES, AND STREAMS WE FLY FISH
Montana offers some of the most diverse fisheries in the American west. Here at Linehan Outfitting, we believe having a breadth of opportunity greatly contributes to the success, and to the enjoyment, of any adventure. Linehan Outfitting has lodging options, fishing options, and enough package options to satisfy even the most discriminating angler. With the Kootenai and Clark Fork Rivers as our home waters, and countless miles of small stream access as well as lakes and ponds to explore, there is enough fishing to keep rods bent, smiles wide, and the thirst for adventure quenched. And that’s our goal: for more than twenty years we’ve been seen by both colleagues and customers as one of the best outfitters in the West. We have built our business one guest at a time, because each visitor, and each day in the woods and on the water, is what’s important to us.
WORLD-CLASS FLY FISHING TRIPS IN MONTANA
If you haven’t fished the northwest corner of Montana, something special is waiting for you. Our remote corner of Kootenai country is far less traveled than other, more talked-about parts of the state. This place is rugged, untracked, and exceptionally beautiful. The northwest corner of Montana where we hang our hats is a dense, fertile, and low-lying rainforest… not the typical high and dry “Big Sky Country” that thoughts of Montana regularly conjure. Ours is a place of steep, rugged, forested mountains and lush valleys; it’s a place that time forgot, where the people are friendly and guests are made to feel special. Nestled in the shadows between Idaho and British Columbia, you will find a forgotten piece of Montana where it’s easy to forget the hustle and bustle of life back home.
